Blessed condoms

What is faith for? Is it role just to gain the answers to God’s promises? Its greatest purpose is to lead people to eternal salvation through their relationship with God, and beyond that, help them to stand firm in their decisions, which in turn provides a life of quality.
For example, science offers several options for birth control. But then questions may arise for some religious Christians: “Where is it written in the Bible that contraceptives are allowed? Is it a sin? Can or can’t we use them?”
In the beginning of my marriage, Esther used birth control pills for almost a year. She had to stop because they made her feel ill. Because I didn’t have the option of having a vasectomy, I sacrificed: I began using condoms.
Why did I do this? I didn’t have conditions economically to have children. It was a matter of faith. I didn’t ask anybody whether it was sin or not. I simply used my own convictions to decide what to do.
Faith with intelligence leads us to strongly and firmly make decisions.
“Everything that does not come from faith is sin.” (Romans 14:23)
Make use of your faith and move forward.
God blesses those who believe!

Yes, Bishop you are right it is a matter of intelligence, because there are many people( I know ) who have child and they simply can not afford to support those children. So I agree, it would have been better to wait until they can afford to support their children.
I will also like to say it is the first time I ever commented here, because I feel like if I voice my opinion and you dont like it. It might not please you and cause you to be disturbed in your daily work, because know it is not good to be discouraged by negative words when only what you are doing is the best you can possible give to God.
So can you please tell me if my opinion will not disturb you?
From way back in around April i have always logged in and read your messages but never commented but with this message of the Blessed Condoms, I just could not hold myself.
Please let me know.
Lastly I can say I have found answers of things that I was afraid to ask the Pastors and Assistants, and also good because i have also answers to some very few individuals who critisize my Church. The messages have been good to me and to all those who read them, keep up the good work.
May God blessed you even more.

Bishop, in Africa where I Live and serve, people believe that children are a “gift from God.” To use family planning methods in marriage including condoms is like an insult. This is so with the very people who are christians. As a result we do not only have abandoned children, but also children who grow up as savages because they were not wholly cared for by their parents, who bore ‘many of them’ in their life time. these messges are being so good to everyone, including myself. God bless you.
