A best friend
It doesn’t matter what you have in life, but who you have in life.
Before honour comes humility.
Bear with other people’s faults just as you bear with your own.
A best friend is one who makes you better than who you already are.
A true friend wants you to be happy, without selfishness or envy… A true friend is happy for your achievements.

It’s true that normally we don’t want to put up with our friends but imagine how christ put’s up with our mistakes and forgiving us time to time,if he is the Lord yet he himulited him self and gained glory for his name imagine how happy you will make him to see that you ‘re fully in his foot steps.

seeing this makes me think a lot about a statement that I often hear ‘There are no friendships in the work of God’. Can you explain to me at what point does this statement take effect? Thank you in advance for your response. Deus te abencoe

The video of the friends, reminds me of the story of Good Samaritan in the Holy Bible.
The Samaritan saw the overly wounded Israelite, but unlike the two who just passed by the Samaritan got mercy with the wounded man, brought the man in the inn, clean and heals the wound, take good care, and give money to the inn keeper so that the man could be taken care of while he is far. As we can see, the story of Good Samaritan talks about how we could be neighbor to our neighbor. And I remember Ptr Joshua Harris (the author of the book Boy meets Girl) mentioned in his sermon that good and Samaritan cannot be combined. So the question is, how much more being a friend?
A true friend is present in times of need, of pain, of struggle and will remain friends until the end, willing to give time, help, ears to listen, and sound advice. Not just friends in benefits.
